  • Have all the sitters been pre-screened?
    They have all been pre-screened with criminal record checks, education checks, first aid certificates and a minimum of two years previous childcare experience.
  • Do I get to choose the sitter? Will it be the same person each time? Why aren't they posted on the site?
    Childminding is more about convenience than consistency. We cannot guarantee the same person for sittings but the more notice that you give the more chance that we can try to fulfill your request for your favorite sitter. Our nanny service guarantees the same sitter each time, on a set schedule. We don't stop until you have your perfect nanny! The staff do not have bios posted on this site for privacy reasons. Once you confirm your booking we send out a bio including a picture so you know who to expect.
  • What if I need to cancel my booking?
    We understand that sickness and emergencies happen, so, we ask that you notify us as soon as you can to cancel. If the cancellation is less than 24 hours then we require half of the total cost to compensate the sitter
  • How much notice do I need to give to book?
    We ask that as soon as you know that you need a sitter that you contact us. Then we can begin our search sooner and be able to find a match.
  • Why do I have to pay before my arranged sitting?
    For confirmation of services we require the sitting to be paid for in advance. The amount will however be refunded in full if you cancel before 24 hours in advance.
  • How much does the service cost and how do I pay?

  • Sick Policy
    We consider the Health and Safety of the children in our care and our staff a priority and therefore we must insist that parents inform us when their children are sick or infectious in order to cancel their booking. The primary reason that we require the cancellation of the booking is that sick children want care from their parents in the comfort of their own homes. However high the quality of childcare that we provide, your child is going to recover most quickly in their own home surrounded with their loving family. If your child shows any sign of illness or is unable to participate in their normal routine then you will be contacted immediately to come home. If your place of work is some distance from your home it is advisable to arrange a back-up plan for somebody who would be able to be with the child should this occur. If we feel your child needs urgent medical attention/treatment, we will of course seek this on your behalf (after first trying to contact you). It is of vital importance that you leave contact telephone numbers so that we can contact you. If you are in any doubt as to whether a nanny/babysitter can care for your child please telephone or message beforehand explaining their symptoms and we will let you know whether we are prepared to allow the booking to continue. The sitters can also make this decision based on the symptoms that they see on arrival. We appreciate your co-operation in this matter. Allergy related symptoms and non-communicable illnesses do not require exclusion. A cough or cold is acceptable for a sitter to attend a sitting as long as the child is not clingy and is still able to participate in a daily routine. Any contagious illness or any of the following are reasons to cancel a sitting; A fever of 99.9 degrees and higher Rash ~ Unexplained rash ~ Consult doctor/Need a note stating your child is not contagious. Vomiting or/and Diarrhea ~ All symptoms must be gone and no Vomiting or Diarrhea for 24 hours Strep Throat ~ Child must be on antibiotics for 24 hours Flu/Bronchitis/Pneumonia ~ Must be on antibiotics for at least 24 hours Ear Infection ~ Child must be on antibiotics. Conjunctivitis (red eyes with yellow discharge)/Pink Eye Child must be on antibiotics for 24 hours. We understand that sickness happens so we ask that you notify us as soon as you can to cancel. If the cancellation is less than 24 hours we require half of the total cost to compensate the sitter.
  • Do you offer gift certificates?
    We sure do! Send us an email and we will set you up.
  • Do you have a Covid-19 policy?
    We do! We are following and changing as required by public health. Every nanny and childminder has been prepped on how to keep our families and themselves healthy and safe. As we customize our experience for each family, please ask us for specifics for your booking.
  • How do I log onto your online profile? - both staff and families

  • Why am I being charged a credit card surcharge?
    As of April 1, 2023, we are allowed to pass through a small surcharge on your invoice if you choose to pay with credit card. This is no greater than the fee our business pays to Visa and Mastercard and ensures the credit card acceptance costs are allocated only to those customers who elect to pay with credit cards. We believe in presenting these fees transparently, allowing you to make an informed decision when you choose your form of payment.
